How do I fit an F-Connector to my Sky cable?
It is imperative that the F-connector is fitted correctly, if it's not then you could end up with a "No Signal" message on your screen as it effectively causes a short circuit. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1
Cut about 25mm down from the end of the cable in a circular manner of the black/white outer plastic covering with a knife and remove from the cable by pulling, be very careful not to cut through the braided copper wire beneath.
Step 2
Twist the outer braided copper wire together and fold back along the length of the cable.
Step 3
Cut around the inner plastic insulation about 3mm from the base of the cable and braided copper wire in a circular manner, this part should then pull off revealing the inner core.
Step 4
Insert the cable through the F-connector and screw the F-connector onto the cable until the white plastic inner insulation is flush with the base part inside the F-connector looking at it from the wide end.
Step 5
Trim the inner core to a level that is approximately 4mm proud of the F-connector.
