How do I replace my Sky cable?
|
|
To install the satellite cable please follow the steps below:
Step 1
Turn your digibox off at the main power supply.
Step 2
Gain safe access to you Minidish.
Step 3
Remove the waterproof Amalgamating tape from the F-connector on the original cable and unscrew from the LNB on your Minidish, remove the rest of the old cable right back to your TV. Run the new cable up the back of your mini dish and leave loose for now.
Step 4
Run the new cable from your satellite dish to your TV using the old cables original path being sure to clip it every 18" or so. making sure you leave a little slack behind the TV connect the cable using F-connectors to the "Dish Input" on the back of your digibox.
Step 5
Return to the Minidish and connect the new cable to your LNB, use waterproof Amalgamating tape to seal the connection between the F-connector and the LNB to ensure it is water tight.
Step 6
Turn your digibox back on and check that all is working.
Step 7
Stand back and admire your handy-work!
