• TYPE OF BOX: The Thomson DSI4214 Sky box is most commonly known as a STANDARD Sky box. It is manufactured by Thomson specifically for new and existing Sky customers.
• WHAT CAN IT BE USED FOR?: It can be used for new or existing customers as a subscription box; Sky Freesat box (FTV) or without any FTV card for the Free-to-Air channels.
• CAN I USE IT TO RECORD?: As this is a standard box it does not have a hard drive like the Sky+ and Sky+HD boxes so an external VCR or similar would be required.
• WARRANTY: The Thomson DSI4214 like all the items on our Website is covered by a 12-month warranty. If it becomes faulty within the first 30 days we will replace it; after 30 days but within 12 months and we will collect/repair/return at no cost to you*.
• DELIVERY (UK): As this is quite a large and expensive item the only courier option is FedEx. There are however two timescales to choose from; FedEx 2-3 working days at a cost of £3.50 or FedEx next working day if ordered before 4pm at a cost of £6.00.

Can I purchase a Sky digibox for use abroad? You can use a Sky digibox abroad providing you have an activated Sky digital subscription card. Your Sky subscription must be either a minimum of 12 months old or a card only package issued by Sky, i.e., not a digibox supplied or installed at a reduced cost.

If I purchase a Sky Digibox from you for use abroad do I need to connect it to a telephone line? As you will be purchasing a digibox as opposed to it being supplied by Sky at a reduced rate you will not need to connect it to a telephone line.
